HISTORY:
- 1997:
First started dabbling into the biz in Saskatoon, SK.
Signed with
an agent, got headshots, and started auditioning.
- 1999: My
agent retired. Still unfamiliar with the industry,
I started
my own agency as a 'crash course' into the film business.
Along
with running my agency, I work as an Extra.
- 2001: Moved to
Vancouver. Broke and jobless for 2 months, I moved back.
-
2002: Started wrangling extras.
- 2003: Moved to
Regina, SK where more work was available.
Worked as: AD, PA, Set
Security, Casting Assistant, and Key Wrangler.
- 2004:
Having learned a great deal and now comfortable with the industry,
I
decide to wrap up the agency business and re-enter the acting
side.
Within a week, I land my first actor role.
- 2005:
Moved to Vancouver. Got a Principal role from my first
audition.
- 2006: Got my educational credit (in Calgary) + 3
more actor roles.
- 2007: Slow start due to actor's strike
but finished year with 2 actor roles + 1 SOC role.
- 2008:
Slow start due to writer's strike but finished year with 1 Principal
role + Stunt credit.
(in addition, I was cast but then cut from a
Dancing Troupe role - still got paid)
I was in talks with the WWE
but have not heard back from them.
- 2009: Slow start due to
SAG negotiations. 3 Actor roles and two actor roles on short
films.
- 2010: Slow start due to Olympics. 1 actor and
1 voice-actor gig.
- 2011: 1 commercial, 1 print gig, and 5
film/tv actor roles so far.
